Moments That Matter, LLC (MTM) is a minority, woman-owned firm located in Burtonsville, MD. Established in 2001 and incorporated in 2004, MTM was initially conceived to continue the excellence of a growing Event Management profession. Today MTM is emerging as a provider of “distinctive events,” with a growing number of satisfied clients and quality partnerships. Through the use of technology, creativity, and teamwork, Moments That Matter will continue to strive for excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction.

The company is owned and operated by Renee McMullen. Miss McMullen has been involved in Marketing and Event Management for the past decade. After years of planning events for co-workers, family, and friends, a transition from information technology positions to marketing management provided the professional experience in planning meetings and events. Her background in computer science gave her the logic and methodical thinking to develop a plan, put it into action, and consider the different details of the events. Her creativity was exercised through the marketing of various products and services.

Miss McMullen is currently pursuing a Professional Certificate of Event Management at George Washington University in Washington, DC. One of the few nationally recognized programs in existence, the attainment of the certificate provides Renee and MTM with knowledge of best practices and a solid foundation in Event Management. This knowledge, combined with the imminent completion of her Master of Science in Management, affords each client of Moments That Matter quality experience and results!
